Diverse service options buoy competitive segment

BOSTON, MA, MARCH 10, 2016 – Level 3, XO, Cogent and Zayo are the top Competitive Providers selling Carrier Ethernet services in the U.S., according to Vertical Systems Group’s latest research. These companies have attained a rank on Vertical’s 2015 U.S. Competitive Provider Ethernet LEADERBOARD based on billable U.S. retail port share for the competitive provider segment as of year-end 2015.

Each of these four companies has also attained either a LEADERBOARD rank or a Challenge Tier citation on the 2015 U.S. Carrier Ethernet LEADERBOARD. Competitive Provider is one of three U.S. provider segments, along with the Incumbent Carrier and Cable MSO segments.
