Esteemed Panelists to Discuss Cybersecurity on TEX NYC 2018 Roundtable

It’s a new year, which means a new Telecom Exchange (TEX) NYC!  Telecom Exchange, presented by JSA, the premier provider of PR, Marketing and Event Planning services to the tech and telecom industries, is an invite-only, C-level networking event that provides unparalleled collaboration, education and one-on-one engagement with the industry’s top thought leaders.

As we head into the show’s eighth year, TEX  has become more selective than ever, with only 150 seats available, to ensure the highest level of participation, collaboration and agenda-setting. C-levels from telecom, tech and content delivery will gather to determine the necessary next steps to ensure networks are smarter and safer, and to make top partnerships more meaningful.

As for the new agenda, TEX will include three action-driven CEO Roundtables, an interactive lunch, and one-on-one networking. So, what can you expect to hear from the first roundtable  titled, “If It Can Be Hacked… Network Security & The New Reality”? With a distinguished panel of speakers that include Scott Gilbert, Executive Vice President & Chief Information Officer of FirstLight; Leo Taddeo, Chief Information Security Officer of Cyxtera Technologies, and Telecom Ramblings very own Editor and Creator, Robert Powell the roundtable will not be one to disappoint.

Cybersecurity Ventures estimates that cybercrime damages will cost the world $6 trillion annually by 2021, up from $3 trillion in 2015. Analysts consider cybersecurity one of the largest threats for potential disruption of technology and industry growth. This TEX NYC CEO Roundtable will not just list the issues of cyber hacking and content theft, but will strive to enumerate several ways in which we as an industry can collectively help increase our security over the next year, as we prep for the new reality of a connected world.

Based on the revamped TEX layout, the show is designed for premium executive engagement at every turn, with tables set for one-on-one meetings and small group discussions. As a stark contrast to the same talk by the same talking heads as seen at many of today’s conferences, and by removing the marketing frills and sponsored sales pitches, TEX sets a new bar for industry communication and direct networking– with the sole intent to drive the industry forward.
